Annual Club Gift Campaign

Each year, the Kiwanis International Foundation conducts its Annual Club Gift fund-raising campaign, from October 1 through September 30, providing the Foundation with an unrestricted source of income. In 1968, the program's first year, this income totaled US$7,000. The total now exceeds US$650,000 per year.

SKIP-A-MEAL

Kiwanis-family members and non-members who send the cost equivalent of just one meal help fund numerous programs that directly benefit children. The SKIP-A-MEAL program benefits the Kiwanis Children’s Fund, sponsored by your Kiwanis International Foundation. Read more about this program, and commit your Kiwanis-family club to this event to receive a Skip-a-Meal banner patch and year-dated chevron.

Tablet of Honor

The Kiwanis International Foundation Tablet of Honor was authorized in 1965 as a giving opportunity through which individuals, Kiwanis clubs, divisions, districts, or organizations could permanently honor Kiwanians, spouses, friends, clubs, or organizations.

Worldwide Service Project

Thanks to Kiwanis International and other partners, more than 70 percent of households in the developing world now use iodized salt. When the World Summit for Children took place in 1990, less than 20 percent of salt in the developing world was iodized. Heads of state and government from more than 70 countries at the Summit set a number of ambitious goals for children, including the goal of virtually eradicating iodine deficiency disorders.

Labels and calendars

When an individual joins a Kiwanis club, the Kiwanis International Foundation recognizes this commitment by sending return address mailing labels. This gives new Kiwanians an opportunity to learn more about the Foundation through its gift-giving programs.

The Kiwanis International Foundation has created another perfect way to let Kiwanians become knowledgeable about the Foundation.

The KIF Calendar contains key dates of events and brief information about Kiwanis International and the Foundation. Donations made to the Foundation through the calendar program are placed in its unrestricted fund. This same fund is used to award grants each year to international organizations that share Kiwanis International's goals and objectives.
